Tokyo, Japan — Onsite
Salary: Up to $130,000 per year + Performance Bonus
We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Development Manager to build and scale partnerships with luxury brands and authorized sellers across watches, bags, and accessories.
This role focuses on expanding high-demand luxury inventory, strengthening supplier relationships, and driving revenue growth within a premium marketplace environment.
Key Responsibilities

Identify, approach, and develop partnerships with luxury brands and authorized sellers in watches, bags, and accessories

Secure high-demand and authentic inventory within the approved categories

Identify new opportunities for category growth and strategic partnerships in Japan and the broader APAC market

Drive revenue growth through strategic partnerships and category-focused initiatives

Lead commercial negotiations and partnership agreements with brands and authorized sellers

Work closely with marketing, operations, logistics, and finance teams to ensure smooth partner onboarding and execution

Use market insights and performance data to optimize partnership outcomes and category growth

Watches: luxury timepieces, mechanical watches, limited-edition watches, designer watches
Bags: handbags, totes, backpacks, crossbody bags, luxury bags, travel and lifestyle bags
Accessories: belts, scarves, hats, wallets, sunglasses, luxury small leather goods
Requirements

Proven experience in business development or partnerships within luxury fashion

Strong network with luxury brands or authorized sellers in Japan

Experience working with watches, bags, accessories, or luxury goods categories

Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills

Strong understanding of luxury brand ecosystems, market trends, and supply chains

Demonstrated success in driving category growth and revenue generation

Strategic mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making

Fluency in Japanese and English is highly preferred
